Gay Adoption: Who wants to cast the first stone?

No matter what you think about gay marriage and adoption, you have to wonder what is worse: A life in foster care, or a life with a gay family. From the policies of many conservatives, the latter is much worse. Growing up without caring parents, having high chances of living the rest of your life on the streets, receiving a lower level of education, and learning few marketable skills, is a far more acceptable fate than being in the house of two women or two men. The Religious Wars

Nicholas Kristof had an intersting op-ed in the NY Times yesterday on the religious wars. Traditionally, these wars have been fought with swords, but in the past few years they have been fought with the pen. I've found that the pen has a greater power to inflict pain than the sword would.
