    Arizonans assume dome = mosque

Read the story at KPHO.com, but here's the gist of it:

A church in Phoenix decides to build a new building.  As a part of their arcitecture, they build a dome at the top.  What's the logical reaction?  Freak out because Muslims are moving into the neighborhood!

Which leads me to question the incursion of the evil Islamic agenda in other parts of wholesome, apple-pie eating, Jesus-loving American society...

    Climbing Structures

Perhaps you climbed on them as a child. Maybe you climbed on them one night after drinking too much and breaking into an elementary school.  Either way, their shape will cause your prodigy to immediately bow to the nearest Imam.  Beware this heathen, seemingly-innocuous plaything.

    Domehome

    Ackward Housing

Semi-popular during the 1960's and 70's, dome homes were planted across the US by terrorists in an attempt to cause unsuspecting, God-fearing Americans to bump their heads due to tight spaces with little head clearance.  Although they have lost favor over the past forty years, some domes still exist, radiating their testimony to Allah across God's chosen people.  Thankfully, biblical suburban expansion has mostly bulldozed these atrocities in exchange for Jesus-approved strip malls, Wal-Marts, and subdivisions.

    Futuristic Battle Arenas

You may not know this, but Mohammed has traveled into the future and constructed geodesic death domes in which righteous evangelicals will be forced to fight powerful Muslim overlords to the death.  You know it's bad because, well, it's a dome.  Logically, it's Muslim and evil.  Thankfully, we have Mel Gibson to help us.  You might think him and radical Islam would have a few things in common, given their similar views regarding Judaism, but alas, Mel isn't too fond of Allah either.

All of this is to say, when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.  And when you're full of angst against a minority group in your community, everything is going to look like an incursion into your whitewashed world.  But, thankfully Arizona has a staunch history of respecting minorities.
